I would love to improve my technical skills including blood draws, vaccine administration, and animal handling. I am hoping to learn more about complicated cases and the process of narrowing down a diagnosis. I also want to learn more about veterinary business ownership and management.

I hope to bring my willingness to learn, kind nature, and positive attitude. I want to contribute to a positive team dynamic and make a difference wherever I work.

I would choose to invest in two things: my employees and my equipment. I would love to offer some kind of bonuses to my employees to show my gratitude for their hard work. I would then put money toward technological advancements in my practice, such as starting a fund for a better ultrasound or radiograph machine.

I might redesign veterinary and vet technician job roles to ensure that they are working as a team and maximizing efficiency on that end. I would also slow down a little to reevaluate where money is going and find ways to increase revenue, without compromising putting patients first. I never want my practice to feel like quantity over quality.

Mostly, I want to invest in a practice that I can kind of make my own and be proud of. I am willing to put in the work with practice ownership to develop a company that I am happy to work for and I hope other veterinary professionals will find refreshing, rather than draining.
