My ultimate goal is to run a practice in my area and this program can be a integral part of my education and experience in other practices so I can avoid making unnecessary mistakes once I begin my career and clinic. This program will hopefully provide me with advise, a example in a real word setting of things I can do to progress and help decreasing my Student Dept in the future!

I am always early and just generally a happy efficiency oriented person. I tend to work well with everyone and try to only think about what I can do for the people around me to make things run more smoothly without overburdening myself, not focusing on other people or circumstances out of my control. I also tend to work well with people during more intense times and really thrive and function in high stress circumstances.

As long as I had started and completed my emergency fund (my first choice) I would think about what is holding the practice back as a whole after looking at bookings and sales from the year. For instance, If we needed more equipment like anything from suture scissors (so clients and staff are not waiting for a pair to remove stitches) to another exam table or the addition of a machine like a X-Ray machine etc. If nothing was needed I would just hold it in a business account and wait till its needed.

It depends on the cause but generally I would first have to increase awareness of the problem, Decide myself and ask my staff what they think the problems were and try to fix them. I would also confide in other practice owners and see if they have faced similar difficulties recently and look for a solution if a main problem can be identifies regardless of the answer. In order to increase efficiency in the clinic I would make sure everyone is aware and following the schedules and see if customers are cancelling last minute or if we have a lack of customers I would have to begin advertising or use staff to advertise the clinic nearby if we have little to no clientele. The most important thing here would be to include the staff in decisions and solutions while not punishing them but rewarding them for when they work harder (something that should be generally done but more-so in this case.)

I want my practice to be my Legacy and addition back to my community while simultaneously being able to create what I could call my perfect environment. (Few of the reasons I began this journey to becoming a vet hinge on my love of buisnesses)
