Veterinary students, want to get hands-on experience in the hospital, learn business fundamentals, AND get paid while doing it? The Harbor ExternSHIP is the opportunity for you! Whether you’re looking for an externship during the school year or during the summer, our ExternSHIP has something for you.

The Harbor ExternSHIP is available in two different options:

2-Week ExternSHIP offered throughout the year
10-Week Summer ExternSHIP

2-Week ExternSHIP

Optimized for third and fourth-year students
Available year-round and over holiday breaks
Gain hands-on experience and see firsthand how a clinic runs at any participating Suveto hospital across the country
Earn a stipend of $100 for each day of participation
Gain access to the ExternSHIP online curriculum through Harbor.vet

10-Week Summer ExternSHIP

Available for second and third-year students
Gain hands-on experience and see firsthand how a clinic runs at any participating Suveto hospital across the country
Get paid $10,000 for your 10-week participation
Learn veterinary business and grow your professional skills through an immersive, weekly curriculum.
Own and complete a project that will make an immediate impact on your hospital and/or Suveto
