Practice History & Profile
Dr. Britt Seely founded Brodheadsville Veterinary Clinic in 1984. He opened this practice with the plan of making veterinary care reasonably priced and easily available to the community. Dr. Seely didn’t want pet ownership to be a “luxury” only available to a few people. Known for his cheerful greeting, “Here for some routine sort of work today?” Britt strived to allow pet owners to obtain good veterinary care for their pets without “breaking the bank.”
The doctors and staff at Brodheadsville Veterinary Clinic are dedicated to carrying on Dr. Seely’s vision as we continue to provide compassionate and affordable care while keeping that “small town” feeling.
The services we offer include: physical examinations, vaccinations, microchipping (for permanent identification as well as a Lifetime Dog License,) spaying and neutering, dental, radiology, in-house diagnostics laboratory, removal of lumps, and urinary and intestinal obstructions. We also utilize a mobile ultrasound specialist who is able to perform ultrasound imaging on site for our patients.
Throughout many years of practice, Brodheadsville Veterinary Clinic has established strong working relationships with emergency and referral hospitals that offer specialized services and critical care should our clients have a need. Britt was able to maintain his “country doctor” ways while helping connect our clients with top veterinarians in their specialties usually within a 30-minute drive from our clinic.
