Welcome!
This mini-course is designed as a two-part journey that mirrors how great leaders learn: first by seeing how others approach a challenge, and then by putting themselves in the driver’s seat to make decisions of their own.
Part 1: See it. Understand it.
You’ll begin with a scenario walkthrough that highlights what good looks like—and what can go wrong. It’s a chance to ground yourself in the core concepts, tools, and leadership behaviors that make practices run more smoothly.
Part 2: Try it. Own it.
Then, you’ll step into the shoes of a real practice leader and work through a more open-ended case. There are no clear-cut answers—just the kinds of trade-offs and tensions you’ll face in the real world. This part is about applying your judgment, learning from the ambiguity, and most importantly, discussing key learnings with your peers.
Whether you’re a new grad or a few years into practice, both phases are for you. It just depends on your personal learning journey. You can move through them in order or jump straight into application—whatever fits your learning style.
