  1. Companion Animal Clinic was founded in 1990 by Dr. Norm Smith as a mixed equine and small animal practice.  It has been strictly small animal since ~ 2013.  The practice has been growing steadily since inception as our local community and surrounding areas have grown, but we are still considered a rural area.  Dr. Colburn took over in 2017 and maintained the family atmosphere while making several upgrades and improvements on equipment and technology.

We are a full-service animal hospital offering general veterinary medicine and surgery to cats, dogs, and pocket pets. We take pride in providing our patients with exceptional veterinary care in a warm and welcoming environment. We offer a variety of services ranging from preventive care, surgery, medicine, dental care, cold laser therapy, acupuncture and more.
